Karmen is a Manhattan, KS native and a graduate of Missouri Southern State University, where she was a member of the women’s soccer team. After returning to Manhattan, she began her career in insurance with Charlson & Wilson and enjoys helping clients and coworkers feel supported and cared for. She is also a member of HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Emerge), a program through the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce designed to connect and grow young professionals in the community.

In addition to her work at the agency, Karmen coaches club soccer and the girls’ soccer team at Manhattan High School. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, going on walks with her dog, cooking new meals, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
